GYROS Trustee Role 

Do you believe that migrants are an important and enriching part of our community?

Would you like to join a small, committed team supporting migrants, including asylum seekers and refugees?

 

Trustee Profile

No specific qualifications are required, and we welcome people of different ages and backgrounds.

 

Essential:

· Sharing the overall aims and ethics of the organisation

· Ability to attend regular monthly meetings and be available for any additional communications that may arise.

 

Welcome (but not essential) :

· Direct / lived experience of being part of a migrant community in the UK

· Experience of working / volunteering with culturally diverse communities.

 

We would particularly welcome applicants with a background in:

· Finance

· PR / Communications

· Sales & Marketing

 

The post is voluntary but any expenses (e.g. travel) will be paid.

The time commitment is approximately 3 hours per month.

We have monthly, 2 hour board meetings, which are held either at our office in Great Yarmouth or via zoom.

Depending on what arises, additional time / activities may be required.
