Research

Policy and research

GYROS is proud to champion culturally and linguistically diverse communities (CALD).

We have a have dedicated and qualified research team who are interested in growing an evidence base of issues affecting migrants and diverse communities across East Anglia. We link our community practitioner work with our social and academic research, which feeds into policy, practice, and change. We conduct our own research into current areas of interest, and welcome universities, policy and change makers, researchers and think tanks to join forces with us. We know, that in order to inform change, current, reliable evidence is needed.

Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL)

Monitoring and Evaluation of projects.

We monitor and evaluate our work in order to see what works and whether there are emerging trends or gaps in provision. Through our CPP project we have a dedicated MEL Team who continuously monitor our work to gain insight into all aspects of our delivery, identify gaps and areas of improvement, pilot new projects and ways of working. Within our commitment to generous leadership this insight and learning is shared with funders and partners alike.

SROI Analysis

GYROS research team are accredited to undertake SROI analysis. Social return on investment (SROI) is a method for measuring values that are not traditionally reflected in financial statements, including social, economic, and environmental factors. SROI provides a clear framework for anyone interested in measuring, managing and accounting for social value or social impact. Contact us if you would like to commission an SROI for to measure the impact of your work.

Client and Participant Feedback

We ask for feedback from every person who accesses our service to ensure that we are meeting and learning about their needs. This is one of the most important aspects of our work as it helps us to meet our commitment to amplifying the voice of the CALD community across our project area.

Alongside our client feedback form we also run focus groups and specific feedback campaigns around specific issues we wish to highlight.
